Blueberry muffins are a true classic. This popular variation is wonderfully fresh thanks to the blueberries. If you’re after a more wholesome snack, these blueberry muffins without sugar are the perfect alternative. They contain no added sugars — only natural ones.

Ingredients
75 g flour
25 g wholemeal flour
0,75 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of salt
45 ml sunflower oil
37,5 g unsweetened applesauce
50 g Greek yoghurt
50 ml milk
0,5 tsp vanilla extract
0,5 egg
100 g blueberries
150 g flour

150 g unsweetened applesauce
200 g Greek yoghurt
200 ml milk

Method
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (top and bottom heat).
- Line a muffin tin with paper cases.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, wholemeal flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the sunflower oil, applesauce, Greek yoghurt, milk, vanilla extract, and egg.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients using a whisk until you have a smooth batter.
- Toss the blueberries in a little flour to prevent them from sinking to the bottom, then gently fold them into the batter with a spatula.
- Divide the mixture evenly among the muffin cases and bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and enjoy these delicious sugar-free blueberry muffins.

Variations on blueberry muffins without sugar
This recipe is the perfect base for delicious blueberry muffins. Want to mix it up a little? You can easily give them an extra twist by adding one or more ingredients.
